We can learn that the government is organizing a national day rally to attract foreign talent to come to Singapore. This can be supported by the following line at the top of the picture," THE NATIONAL DAY RALLY ON FOREGIN TALENT." The source also say that Singapore do not mind having different types of foreign talent who come from different countries. This can be supported by the following lines in the picture," I WILL SORT THEM OUT LATER." This source shows a happy tone as the man who was playing the flute which was the government was showing a happy face as it attracts so many different types of rats who were the foreign talent in this picture. The purpose of this source is telling us that Singapore is a well known country which attracts lots of foreign talent who come from different parts of the world.

ReplyDeleteFrom source F, I can infer that the mice represent the foreign talents and are attracted by the government.
This can be seen from the picture in source F which shows a person representing the government blowing a flute attracting the mice.
From source F, I can also infer that the government is not doing their part to control the overpopulation of foreign talents.
This can be seen from the line in source F which states,” I will sort them out later."
The purpose of this source is to tell us that the government is not efficient in controlling the population of the foreign talents.
i can learn from this source that the government relies on foreign talent to help bring singapore to a more competitive country.this is seen by the source when it shows that there are lots of rats.i can also learn from this source that the singapore government rewards foreigners when they help singapore.this is seen in the cartoon where it says "i will sort them out later".the message of this source is to make singaporeans feel jealous of foreign talent, thus wanting them to work harder to help the country.

ReplyDeleteFrom this source, I can learn that foreign talent in Singapore plays a very big part. In this picture, it shows a lot of rats behind the government during a national rally on foreign talent. This meant that foreign talent in singapore are able to keep singapore clean. As the source stated "I will sort them out later...." Therefore, this meant that foreign talent in singapore play a big part and it's important.

ReplyDeleteFrom soure F, we can see that alot of rats are following the flute player blowing a flute. This shows that the government's policy speech on the national day rally is very successful as many foreign talent are being attrated to what the goverment has said. The rats represents foreign talent and this shows that most of the foreign talent are dirty. The flute player reporesents the singapore government.By the speech 'I will sort them out later....' shows that the government has many different types of foreign talent in singapore.Maybe just too much for him to sort out on his own.The purpose of this source is to tell us that the policy in singapore has attracted many different types of foreign talent such that the government alone cannot sort out them now. This is to show that the foreign talent in singapore is overwhelming.
From source F, I can infer that the government is not doing their part to control the overpopulation of foreign talents.
ReplyDeleteThis can be seen from the line in source F which states,” I will sort them out later."
We can learn that the government was showing a happy face as it attracts so many different types of rats who were the foreign talent in this picture. The purpose of this source is telling us that Singapore is a well known country which attracts lots of foreign talent who come from different parts of the world.
From this source, i can learn that the government takes the foreign talents for granted , this can be seen as quoted from the source "i will sort them out later" . Another inference is that the mice ( foreign talent ) are attracted to the trumpet ( Singapore Government Policy ) as there is a horde of mice chasing the government which is playing the trumpet .
ReplyDeleteThe purpose of this source is to show the public that the government is not doing a good job in maintaining the population of foreign talents

From the source, i can infer that the foreign talent policy in singapore has attracted alot of foreigner's attention.
ReplyDeleteAs from the source, it shows a school of "rats" which represents the foreigners and the man playing the flute which represents the Singapore Government, therefore because of the school of rats chasing after the man hence it shows that the Singapore's foreign talent policy has attracted alot of "foreigners". Therefore this shows that the foreign talent policy must be attractive enough to gain so many attracted foreigners.
From Source F, i can infer that the Singapore Government is organising a National Day Rally just to recruit more foreign talents, regardless of where they are from. This could be supported by the picture, where there are mices following the 'govt'.
ReplyDeleteAnd the source also tells me that Singapore have attracted way too many foreign talents as they couldn't sort them out at the moment, this could be supported by the number of mices following the 'govt'.

ReplyDeleteI can infer from the source that the there are too many foreign talent in singapore as the mice represent the foreign talent.I also can infer that the national rally are attracting too many foreign into the country. The population are too much that the government cannot sort them in a short period of time. The purpose of this source is to tell the goverrnment to stop attracting foreign into the country.
I can infer from the source that Singapore is attracting foreign talent to join during the singapore rally. I can see this from the source in the following line 'THE NATIONAL DAY RALLY... ON FOREIGN TALENT...'. I can also infer from the source that Singapore does not mind having foreign talent people come from different countries. I can also see this from the source as the man who represent the government says 'I WILL SORT THEM OUT LATER'. The purpose is to let sigaporeans know that the Government would be happy having foreign tealent to join Singapore.

From this source, i can infer that the Singapore government policy had been a success in recruiting foreigners from other country. It means that many talented had been attracted by Singapore's government policy. However, the source also shows that the the population of Foreigners were too much but the government still did not solve the matter straight away but on the other hand, pushed it aside for the time being. So this source is telling us that Singapore had attracted lots of talents from other countries to increase Singapore's education or economy but they did not do their part to control the amount of foreigners entering Singapore

From the source, I can learn that there are too much foreigner in Singapore, which is drawn as the rats in the picture, and the government is not putting in effort to stop the overgrowing population of the foreigners, as this can be seen in drawing of the picture as the guy playing a flute said that he will sort them out later.
