  1. from source c i can infer that people would rather to have money than babies. it can be supported in source c by one of the couple is pushing a trolley with a bag a money . from source a i can also infer that people would rather work than making babies. this can be supported in source c by the rate of m facturing, it and construction is incresing but the rate of making babies is decreasing. the purpose of this source is to tell people that most of them would rather have money or keep working than making babies or have any children and make them feel guilty about it.

From source C, i can infer that Singapore's birth rate is decreasing due to the development of the country. The source shows a graph with increasing rates of manufacturing, IT and construction but decreasing rate for babies. I can also infer that Singaporeans do not want to be tied down by children due to financial needs. The source shows a couple showing unhappiness with a baby and a couple smiling with alot of money and no baby. The purpose of this source is to raise awareness among the people about the low birth rate in Singapore and also to point out to the government that the main reason for the low birth rate is due to monetary issues.

Source C tells us that Singapore's birth rate is decreasing. This can be seen in source C which shows an economist pointing to a graph showing sectors such as manufacturing ,IT and construction has increases whereas the sector 'babies' had been decreasing meaning that there are fewer babies born each year.
Source C also tells us that couples do not wish to have babies . This can be seen in source C showin a couple pushing a pram with a bag of money rather than a baby.
The purpose of source C is to encourage singaporean couples to have babies.

Source C tells me that the intention of the artist drew this cartoon is to create awareness to the people about the low birth rate in singaopre as this may lead to lack of manpower in future this can be supported as the artist drew a graph showuing the decline in the rate of baby birth and the another intention of the the artist drew the cartoon is to seek the help from it's nation to provide more babies to the country by giving money once the baby is deliver in this way people will be able to produce more babies to the country this can be supported by the picture cartoon having a sum of money in the baby trolley.

The cartoonist drew this cartoon is actually trying to tell peoples in Singapore that there is a declining birth rate in the country. "We need to upgrade this sector" actually means that Singaporeans have to increase the birth of babies produce in the country so as to had as many children as they could if they could afford it. Manufacturing,It and Construction industries have increase, thus Singapore needs more young talent in the economy so that the economy will be more stable and develop more widely. As seen in the cartoon diagram, a couple with a sum of money in the baby tram is trying to said that Singapore has put some measures such as for amount of babies produce in the year they will receive a baby bonus of a large sums. The purpose of the artist in drawing this cartoon is to alert Singaporeans about the declining birth rate and also to ensure that the birth rate will increases.

The artist drew this picture to show that the birth rate in Singapore is declining. The others are increasing in the rate of producing. People rather chose to have money then having a baby. As it can be see in the source the couple that is pushing the pram with baby inside looks poor and tired. Whereas the couple that is pushing the pram with a bag of money inside is looking happy. It means that people think that having baby's are tiring and they rather have their money and job. Which they could invest in a long time.

I think the cartoonist drew this cartoon in order to tell Singaporeans that Singapore is advancing in every other way except for its population growth. This can be seen as the cartoon shows a graph where Manufacturing, IT and construction are all growing in their individual sectors except for Babies. This source also shows that babies could be seen as a liability to parents, such as how 2 parents are seen pushing a pram with their child in it, looking unhappy while another couple is pushing a pram with a bag of money in it. The couple with the bag of money look much happier. This shows that although the government has offered incentives for couples who have children, the parents would still be unhappy, hence resulting in them not wanting to have children. Therefore, this shows that the Babies sector in singapore is declining as parents do not want to have children. And hence, the cartoonist drew this cartoon to show Singaporeans that if they were to continue to think of babies as a liability and a source of unhappiness, the birth rate in singapore would decrease at an alarming rate.

The graph in source C shows the development for various components- manufacturing,IT,construction and Babies.Babies is the only component that shows a decline.Hence,i can say that the birth rate in Singapore is declining.
Other than that, as shown in Source C,a couple who are pushing a pram with their child in it,are looking at the other couple who are pushing a pram with a bag of money in it.They seem to be envy of them. Therefore,i can say that the goverment is rewarding couples who give birth to babies.
In conclusion,i can say that the cartoonist is trying to encourage more couples to give birth to as they will be rewarded with bonuses and incentives.

I think the artist drew the cartoon to show that the rate of birth in Singapore was declining, and that this was due to modern couples choosing personal wealth over raising children. In the source, it shows two couples: one with a baby in a pram, and one with a sack of money in another pram. The couple with the baby look frustrated while the couple with sack of money look satisfied. Also, on the other section of the source, there are two men, presumably representing the government, studying a graph which depicts growing rates of different sectors of the Singaporean economy, but the sector showing the rate of birth is declining. One of them points to it, and says, "We need to upgrade this sector!" This shows that due to the decisions made by couples to forgo raising a family for the sake of financial gain, they end up causing a decline in birth rate.

Based on the picture given in source C , the artist is
trying to tell us that nowadays , people would rather save
up their money than having babies as they need money to provide for
their babies. This can be supported by the picture in souce C that
shows a couple pushing a bag of money in their trolley instead
of a baby. The artist is also trying to tell us that , today ,
people is effecient in everything except producing babies.
this can be supported by the picture which show a man pointing
to a board which shows the rate of manufacturing , IT ,
construction and baby but all the others rate is going up except
the birthrate is going down and the man telling the other man that
they need to increase the birthrate. The purpose of this
source is to tell those couples who are not intending to have babies
to change their mind and to let them know that we are now having a
low birthrate , mainly because of the money issues.

From the picture given, i can infer that the artist is trying to tell the audience that nowadays parents rather have money than having children.
This can be supported by the picture showing that couples who are pulling a tram full of money are very happy yet the couple pulling a tram with a child feeling unhappy.
Other than these, i can also infer that the artist is trying to tell the audience that everything is improving except for one, which is having babies.
This can be supported by the graph showing that manufacturing, IT, construction are going up but the only one that is decending is the babies.
The purpose of this picture is to encourage couples to have more babies as this is what we are lacking of, not technology or money.

I think the cartoon which was drawn in source C is trying to tell us the birthrate in Singapore is going down. This can be supported by the graph that is in the source. Its a going down curve for 'Babies'.

Couples would also rather earn more money then have babies. This can be supported by the source where there is a couple who was pushing a pram for their baby but there was money inside instead of babies.

There's also a couple who was pushing a pram with their baby but by their faces, we can see that they are showing a tired face. They were trying to show that they were suffering.

Therefore, couples in Singapore would rather have more money than have a baby to increase the bithrate.

From source C, I can infer that Singaporeans couples are much more blissful having more money compared to those couples that have kids. As the source shows that the couple pushing a pram with a money bag in it as a beaming smile on their faces while another couple pushing a pram with a kid in it appears to be unhappy and jealous this tells me that the couples prefer to have money instead of kids. And from another picture in source C tells me that the rate of babies is decreasing while other sectors such as construction and infomation technology is increasing. This tells me that either there are lesser married couples willing to have a baby as rasing up a child in Singapore nowadays is very costly or married couples are too busy to have kids since they are busy working therefore the increasement in other sectors excluding the babies sector. The main reason that married couples do not want to have babies because living expenses is high and rasing up a child is also very costly even with monentary subsidies hence, the low birth rate in Singapore.

Source C is trying to tell us that every Singaporean is busy working hard in many different ways but not in the making babies. This could be supported by the picture of a man with a graph trying to tell us that different sectors of the Singaporean economy are growing, but the sector showing the rate of birth is declining. And the couple pushing a baby pram looks upset and the couple with sack of money look happy. This means that people are happier with money and not with babies.

From source C, I can infer that the rate of birth in singapore was declining due to the money concern. As nowadays, many of the young generation choose to have money and their career as their priority than having kids.

From the source shows that the couple pushing a pram with a money bag having a wide smile on their faces while another couple pushing a pram with a kid in it appears to be unhappy and envious this tells me that they rather have money compared than having kids.
This can be supported by the graph that is the rate of birth is decreasing. As we need to upgrade those sectors in order for the rate of birth to increase.

i can infer from the source that singaporeans this days prefer to have a blissful time on their own and prefer not to have a child. from the source itself shows two couples with a baby in a pram, and one with a sack of money in the other pram. The couple with the baby in the pram is not really looking happy while the other looks satisfied. in the source there is a man pointing at the graphs showing that the other job sectors in singapore are rising while the baby production in singapore is declining. the guy in the source, says " we need to upgrade this sector! " shows that the message of this source is to infer about the declining birth rate in singapore.

I think the artist drew this cartoon because he believes that everything in world world is increaing like , manufacturing , IT and construction . But , only the rate of babies beening give birth is going down .And people that do not want to have babies , seemingly to have more money to spend rather than having a baby.

As the evidence shows that there is a chart of everything , Manufacturing , IT and construction increasing. Except the rate of babies . This tells that people have been working more and have lesser time for babies . So this tell that people have lesser time for babies and the rate of babies have been going down. The sources also shows that acouple pushing a pram with a money bag having a wide smile on their faces while another couple pushing a pram with a kid in it appears to be unhappy . i believe that every Singaporean is busy working hard in many different ways but not in the making babies.

So from this , This means that people are happier with money and not with babies.
While having more money to spend at the same time. :D

    THE END~~~~~

Source C tells me that babies make a different in life. This can be seen from source C, which shows both couple is pushing a baby pram, but both their expression are different and inside the pram is different "object" too. Inside the pram, one of it is a baby and their expression were kind of like unhappy, as they see the other couple's pram is a bag of money and their expression were happy. This shows that nowadays, couple rather getting money than giving birth. This brings them happiness and satisfaction too.

Source C also tells me that babies rate in Singapore are dropping in compare with other factors like IT and Construction. This shows that nowadays, couple will rather be at the workforce to earn more money, which shows that the working factors are increasing. While the babies rate is decreasing, which shows they do not want to have any baby as taking care of a baby might need to spend a lot of money.

The purpose of the cartoonist in drawing this cartoon is to show Singaporean that Singapore's babies rate are dropping and to urge Singaporean to give birth to babies too.

  20. From the cartoon, we see the birth rate decreases while the IT and economic increases. It means along with the economic develops in Singapore, people donot want to give new birhts. In another part of cartoon, we can see that people with child are very poor and shabby in dress. However, the couple without a child are very rich and they dress neatly. It means couples think if they have babies, they do not have time in their career, so they do not want child. The purpose of cartoon is to encourage couples to have new birth and to balance the decreasing birth rate.
