I can tell it because the picture shows a kettle with the word "Iran" is boiling and the man with a UN logo shirt is sleeping and doesn't seem to know that the kettle is boiling. ReplyDeleteThe source tells me that the United Nations is the United Nations who did not even bother to help the Iran who is having nuclear crisis. This can be seen from the picture which shows a man representing the UN who was sleeping soundly even though the kettle is boiling. The kettle represents the Iran who is urgently calling the UN to help them solve the nuclear crisis. This can be seen from the picture which shows the kettle boiling with fire on it. This shows that the Iran desperately need the UN help and they cant wait any longer. Therefore, it can be seen that the UN do not want to help them although the Iran desperately calling the UN for help.

ReplyDeleteThe soirce tells me that the UN's against iran nuclear activities is not sucessful.This can be shown in source B,a man is sleeping even though the kettle that has the word iran is boiling over brim.He never wake up and turn off the fire,this show that UN did not do anything help Iraq.I think the cartoonist is trying to tell us that UN dont know anything about Iraq.

ReplyDeleteThe source tells me that United Nations was unaware of Iran's situation in crisis. This can be supported by the picture which shows Iran as a kettle boiling with fire on it. The United Nations did not take the Iran nuclear crisis as a serious matter. This can be supported by the picture which shows a man sleeping soundly even though the kettle was boiling profusely. The purpose of this source is to tell us that even though Iran is trying to create trouble to the United Nations, but the United Nations is not worried of Iran's actions as Iran itself is not able to support it's own. Therefore, making the audience feel a negative thought for Iran.
This source tells me that the Iran were having the nuclear crisis and trying to get help from the United Nation(UN) which did not bother to know what is actually going on to Iran.

The man were sleeping soundly and do not even heard that the kettle were shaking meaning the water is fully boiled.
This shows that Iran were struggling to face the crisis and even get the help from the UN, which are supposed to give the Iran a help in order for the nuclear crisis to settle.
But in this source, the book which the UN is reading is even closed. The book shows how the peace are suppose to be handle. This proved that the UN purposely ignored the Iran request for help

This source tells me that the UN wasn’t aware of the crisis in Iran. It tells me that the guy who is sleeping soundly and does not care about the crisis is the UN. He does not realize about the kettle which is on fire. I could see that the UN does not help the Iraq. The kettle represents the Iran and they are asking desperately for their help.

From Source B, I can tell that the United Nations (UN) is not interested about helping Iran on the nuclear crisis. This can be seen from Source B, the kettle stating ‘IRAN’ is boiling and on fire but the man with the shirt stating ‘UN’ is sleeping soundly.
ReplyDeleteAlso from Source B, I can tell that the UN is delaying the issue of making peace with Iran. This can be seen from Source B, the UN was reading the book titled ‘peace through procrastination’, but eventually fell asleep.
Hence, the purpose of this source is to criticize on the way the United Nations handled the nuclear crisis in Iran, influencing the American’s to question UN’s ability to solve problems and eventually hope that the UN would solve the problem with Iran effectively.
